Jan Linhart left London corporate law to restore a heritage finca in the Mallorcan mountains, working remotely whilst starting a family there. The property was everything he'd hoped for, yet the process showed him why so few people manage it – traditional ownership rarely fits lives lived across borders, careers that demand flexibility, or families that need more than one destination.

David Polacek came to the same conclusion from a different angle. After years as a senior banker, he'd spent too long paying for holiday rentals that looked perfect online and disappointed on arrival. With a family background in hospitality, he knew what quality should look like, which made the gap between promise and reality harder to accept.

Between us, we'd seen the pattern up close. Renovating, owning, and managing homes across London, Mallorca, Hamburg, Prague, Budapest, the Salzburg region, and northern Spain showed us what worked and what didn't. Today, that experience shapes the way we build and run every home. Jan is now based in Mallorca, working with our real estate and design lead, Sophia, while Paul runs our Alpine portfolio from Munich, close to the Austrian properties. David makes sure that our portfolio is well-balanced and that we can act when the right homes come up.
